Once Ghosted, Twice Shy was a moderately paced perfect little romance to start the year off with, but I have to admit I felt like I was plunked down in the third act — I needed this to be a full story! We take a short walk through the start, end and new beginning of the relationship between Liktosi, an international royal aide and Fabiola an accountant with a side-hustle.
They have one day together to figure out why their all-consuming love story ended. I liked that Cole explored the eclectic side of New York, the specificity was pretty intriguing. Power and money are usually pretty important in a HEA and I think Cole used this trope in a pretty powerful way.
